In 2006, Gao buming was awarded the outstanding young calligrapher of Jiangsu Province.

2017年6月，任中國人民武裝警察部隊(duì)甘肅總隊(duì)政委。第十三屆全國人民代表大會代表，甘肅省第十三屆人民代表大會代表。

In June 2017, he served as political commissar of Gansu general team of Chinese people's armed police force. Deputy to the 13th National People's Congress and the 13th Gansu Provincial People's Congress.
